With the development of stone industry, the scraps of stone processing enterprises are more and more, especially the stone powder produced by stone saw cutting. Although adopted circulating water treatment and secondary precipitate, scraps and stone powder piled up days and months multiplying. For long, it is not only waste place, but also causes severe environmental pollution. It has become a big problem for enterprises' long term development.
Although it is not long that China stone industry research on the use of stone scrap, China stone practitioners have developed many methods to use stone scraps and stone powder. Using natural granite edging scraps prefabricate into compound granite slab is an advanced technology.
Natural granite is a stone material that can be processed into flooring, wall material and monument. But in granite quarry and processing factory, there is a lot of granite edging scraps abandoned as they can not get effective use every day, causing resources waste.
I. Ingredient of granite slab prefabricated by natural granite edging scraps
1. Granite edging scraps
To use natural granite edging scraps must first crush them into certain granularity. Match the crushed grain with the following grain grade: 25%-30% 1.2mm grain diameter, 25%-30% 2.5 mm grain diameter, 20%-30% 5mm grain diameter, 25%-50% 10mm grain diameter. When matching, it can't less than 3 kinds of grains with above grain diameter.

As the following terms to choose cementing materials: under the normal temperature maintenance, high strength, compressive strength reaches 70.0~10.0MPa, folding strength reaches 9.MPa, good freeze-thaw resistance and durability, can withstand erosion from all kinds of chemicals, showing high durability, long-term stability. The weight ratio of hydraulic cementing materials and granite grain is 1:2~3.

II. Production technology of granite slab prefabricated by natural granite edging scraps
In a certain size of vertical pouring mold, match two Stainless steel clapboards according to the required size, separate into three layers. In the middle, prefabricate forming the fresh compound containing granite grain using for granite surface. Other two layers pour and form the fresh compound without granite grain using for the bottom. Then get out the two clapboards, shaping up in drying room, maintenance in water, mold unloading. Then cut by diamond tool.
From the above mentioned, mixing natural granite scraps with different grain diameter and hydraulic cementing materials into prefabricated granite slab, which production hardness, glossiness, strength and appearance are similar with natural granite slab. This is not only use natural granite scraps effectively, but also reduce the production cost of compound granite.
